OrthoView LLC, providers of orthopaedic digital planning software have announced the release of their 1000th digital template set to the OrthoView library of digital templates.
The OrthoView template library now provides access to over 90,000 digital prosthesis images, for use in planning joint replacement and fracture management procedures.
The release of the 1000th template set is an impressive milestone for the company. Said John Chambers, CEO. OrthoView puts a high priority on providing our customers with digital templates of their chosen implants and we liaise with over 50 orthopaedic manufacturers to achieve this.
OrthoView has worked closely with the manufacturers of orthopaedic prosthesis parts in the US and worldwide to enable surgeons to template digitally since the company first launched their orthopaedic digital planning and templating solution onto the market in 2002. Each digital image represents a unique prosthesis that would traditionally be received by the orthopaedic surgeon as an image on a piece of acetate from the manufacturer, for planning with x-ray film.
Each of OrthoViews template sets includes the range of sizes and other variations of a named implant provided by the manufacturer.
