Introduction from GMC:

In March 2015, we launched Medical professionalism matters – a series of events and online discussions where frontline clinicians can discuss the challenges to professionalism that emerge in their daily practice.

In a time when the profession is facing great challenges and change, we hope these events and online discussions will inspire everyone involved to help raise the standards of medical professionalism.

Each event includes a keynote speech, an interactive panel discussion and plenty of time for networking and discussion. We’ve worked with our key partners to deliver these events, so that they’re useful and topical.

Visit the GoodDoctors website to add your thoughts to the discussions so far. You can comment on other people’s ideas, take a poll, watch and comment on videos or write your own blog.

All of the contributions, at our events and online, will feed in to a report that we will publish in 2016 about the current state and future of medical professionalism.

Why attend?

  • Be inspired – stimulating keynotes, lively panel discussions from thought leaders and powerful speakers.
  • Be social – a chance to network and discuss with colleagues the key challenges to professionalism.
  • Be part of Medical professionalism matters and have your say – all of the contributions will feed in to a report.
