A welcome message from the Chair of WCORT-2017
Dear friends and colleagues,
On behalf of the organising committee, I am proud to announce that BIT’s 4th Annual World Congress of Orthopaedics 2017 (WCORT-2017), with the theme of “Innovation, Translation, Intelligence, Healthy World”, will be held on 22–24 September, 2017 in Taiyuan, China.
BIT’s 4th Annual World Congress of Orthopaedics 2017 (WCORT-2017) is hosted by Shanxi Medical Association, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, co-organised by Shanxi Nursing Association, supported by Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Surgery, Journal of Practical Orthopaedics, and operated by BIT Group Global Ltd. Our conference will bring over 300 leading orthopaedic surgeons and scientists to discuss the practical challenges, concerns and strategies in this field, who are from more than 50 countries and regions. It offers a great opportunity for orthopaedic physicians, clinicians and scientists, at any stage in their career, to present, develop their own technique, research, and network with other orthopaedic experts. And we are expecting over 2000 professional audiences to join this grand event.
WCORT-2017 will feature three days of world-leading plenary lectures, cutting-edge symposia, high-quality oral communications, and lively poster sessions, which covers a wide range of themes in orthopaedic area including Spine, Joint, Trauma, Bone Tumor, Orthopaedic Microsurgery, Pediatric Orthopaedics, Foot and Ankle, Sports Medicine, Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Reconstruction, Osteoporosis, Orthopaedic Nursing, Digital Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Biomechanics Materials. Moreover, you would explore further communication and collaboration through social activities during the conference.
Taiyuan, a city more than 2500 years old, is the capital and largest city of Shanxi province in North China. Its strategic location and rich history make Taiyuan one of the economic, political, military, and cultural centres of Northern China. Taiyuan is also famous for its cultural relics and beautiful landscapes. It has five historical and cultural sites under state-level protection, 17 under provincial-level protection, and 67 under municipal-level protection.
