Following the success of the first edition in 2013, SYNTHES’ 3D is pleased to announce the launch of the new edition of its orthopaedic virtual tradeshow, the OrthoVirtualConvention.com, in 2017.
Due to its growing experience in 3D computer graphics and medical skills, SYNTHES’ 3D had the idea in 2013 to organise a virtual tradeshow specialising in orthopaedics. The OrthoVirtualConvention.com is the first international virtual tradeshow where professionals in orthopaedics from all over the world share their latest information, innovative techniques and products, clinical cases and new technologies.
“With this new edition, we are trying to become the global reference in the orthopaedic field where all the data and info converge,” said Vivien Poujade, CEO and Founder of SYNTHES’ 3D.
The virtual tradeshow has been deeply revised to better meet the expectations of exhibitors, visitors and surgeons. As the main evolution this year, the platform is opened permanently so visitors can have access to the contents all year long. New sections have been added – in addition of previous functionalities – such as the News section, which regroup all the latest international news in the orthopaedic sector; or the Ortho Files and Ortho Tube sections, which gather all the scientific contributions (e-Posters, publications, videos) posted by registered surgeons in order to create a rich and unique database particularly for new generations of surgeons.
“We want to rewrite the codes of traditional tradeshows by creating a concept of permanent congress including 3D booths and a data base system full of information,” added Vivien Poujade.
