Company hits £2m turnover; aims for £3m in two years

Bespoke Healthcare has invested £140k in an office extension which doubles floor space to over 2,000 square feet and paves the way to a £3 million turnover target.

The Preston-based company, which is an independent provider of neurophysiology tests and intraoperative monitoring services for the NHS, also revealed it has broken £2 million turnover for the first time for year-end to June 30, 2013, with plans in place for further rapid expansion.

“Our business plan is designed to make major savings for the NHS by offering complex diagnostic services locally while further improving care and the patient pathway. Now the commissioning of services has changed, those who challenge will find excellent companies in the private sector.

“We are here to make a major difference, and we will keep pushing our agenda and entering new clinical fields as we look to hit a £3 million turnover in the next two years, a figure which is more than reachable.”

Founded in 2006, Preston-based Bespoke Healthcare has seen over 30,000 patients nationwide for leading NHS establishments including The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The company, which has recently unveiled a major management restructure with three key appointments, currently employs nine full-time people and has over ten leading neurophysiology specialists working on a consultancy basis.

In 2012, the company became the first independent provider of neurophysiology testing services to achieve connection to the N3 NHS national network and last month became the latest private healthcare firm to receive CQC certification.
