Heraeus PALACADEMY®, the educational platform of Heraeus Medical, features new online events on infection management in orthopaedics and
traumatology with a focus on the prevention and management of periprosthetic joint infections and the relevance of local antibiotics.

Video Podcast Series as on demand training

The new Science Cast series “Myths and truths about antibiotic-loaded bone cement (ALBC)” provides current expert knowledge and insights from
international clinicians and focuses on open questions and facts on the usage and relevance of antibiotic-loaded bone cement in infection
management concepts.

The series is presented by Prof. Volker Alt (University Hospital Regensburg, Germany) and supported by international guest experts such
as Prof. Pablo Sanz-Ruiz (Gregorio Marañon General Hospital, Spain) and Prof. Daniel Kendoff (Helios Klinikum Berlin Buch, Germany), who will
discuss evidence, basic knowledge and practice around ALBC.
