Not just another volar distal radial plate, the TriMed Wrist Fixation System is a whole concept in the treatment of distal radius fractures. The Volar bearing plate allows the distal pegs to be angled and locked, to capture various bone fragments. Some 15% of fractures cannot be fixed by any of the volar plates alone. The Trimed radial & ulnar pin plates are supplemented by a range of wire forms that allow virtually every fracture to be fixed.
