The new Mini Scorpion® Dx has been specifically designed for distal extremity applications requiring a miniaturised version of the sports medicine Scorpion®. The ergonomic and minimised instrument offers versatile suturing options for use in tight, hard to reach places.
The FastPass technology provides a suture capturing mechanism to automatically retrieve 0 FiberWire® after passing through tissue. The instrument works well both under direct visualisation and for “blind” passes through the plantar plate from a dorsal approach, where access and visualisation is often limited.
