The Torpedo’s unique tip shape, which is similar to a switching stick, allows easier and more precise positioning than traditional shavers. The bullet shaped tip features an ovoid outer window with a smooth cutting edge designed to restrict the size of tissue pieces that get into the window to reduce clogging. The bullet shape provides an inner tube which is concentric with the outer, this feature allows for a tighter tolerance which creates a very controlled scissor-like cutting action. In addition, the Torpedo features dual inner cutting windows to set a new standard in aggressive resection capability. The Torpedo is due to hit UK shores very soon.
