The British politician George Osborne, member of Parliament and Chancellor of the Exchequer in David Cameron’s government, was recently a guest at the Ottobock Science Centre in Berlin. The visit took place during the 7th annual meeting of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes in Berlin. Representatives from finance ministries and tax authorities in more than fifty countries came together to sign an international agreement to improve control against tax evasion. George Osborne was welcomed by Christin Gunkel, Head of Marketing at Ottobock, and Karsten Ley, Director of Corporate Communication. Ottobock are manufacturers and suppliers of prosthetic limbs, orthotic supports and wheelchairs that facilitate independence.
