It is a great pleasure and an honour to extend to you a warm invitation to attend the 25th Annual and Anniversary Meeting of the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) to be held September 13-15, 2017 in Munich, Germany.
The 2017 EORS Meeting is organized in partnership by the EORS and the Department of General, Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery, Clinical Campus-City Center, Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), Munich, Germany.
The Meeting Venue is the Anatomy Department of the LMU, an exclusive location combining the flair of an old building with modern room interiors and media technologies.
The traditional main themes of the 25th EORS Meeting “Orthopaedic Biological Research”, “Orthopeadic Clinical Research” and “Orthopaedic Biomechanics Research” and the special congress themes “Regenerative orthopedics”, “Organ forming and 3D-printing” and “Shock wave therapy” will underpin the need for collaboration of individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds. 2017 is an exceptional year due to the 25th EORS Anniversary, an opportunity to glance at the society’s establishment, development and future.
Munich is an exceptional site for the 25th Annual Meeting. It is the capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria, on the banks of River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps. It even is the third largest city in Germany. Munich is the home to many national and international authorities, major universities, numerous architectural attractions, major museums and art exhibitions. In 2017, on 16th of September will be the opening of the 184th Oktoberfest in Munich. Oktoberfest was established for the wedding of King Ludwig I to Princess Therese of Saxony and the town citizens were invited to attend the festivities held on the fields “Theresienwiese”. At present, Oktoberfest is the largest festival in the world, with several million visitors from all around the world.
The EORS 2017 Meeting will provide a wonderful forum for you to refresh your knowledge base and explore the innovations in Orthopaedic Science and Medicine. The organizing team will strive to offer plenty of networking opportunities, providing you with the opportunity to meet and interact with the leading scientists and researchers, friends and colleagues as well as sponsors and exhibitors.
