Lockdown Shoulder Stabilisation System – LSSS™ for ACJ reconstruction

Lockdown Medical’s shoulder stabilisation system LSSS™, is a double-braided polyester ligament reconstruction device, designed to provide fixation during the healing process following an acromioclavicular separation due to coracoclavicular ligament disruption. A key element of the Lockdown device is its biological function as a scaffold, enabling tissue ingrowth and the forming of an investing fibrous pseudoligament1. With over 2000 implantations globally every year, the Lockdown LSSS device offers excellent clinical results and patient satisfaction outcomes. A simple, reproducible surgical procedure requires no holes in the coracoid and a fast rehabilitation process with the most exacting activities (including contact sports) being resumed after 12 weeks.
