GIRFT’s national specialty report for adult orthopaedic trauma surgery is now available in draft to NHS colleagues only on FutureNHS.
Recommendations in the report broadly address effective team management to ensure multidisciplinary governance of the whole orthopaedic trauma pathway; measures to ensure equitable care for patients with similar needs; and the prevention of fractures through access to and availability of secondary fracture prevention services (Fracture Liaison Services).
