Lockdown Ankle Stabilisation System (LASS) – for lateral and medial ligament reconstruction

Lockdown Ankle Stabilisation System (LASS) – for lateral and medial ligament reconstruction

Suitable for both acute and chronic cases of ankle instability, LASS has performed extremely well when used as a revision option for previously operated chronic ankle instability. When medial ligament reconstruction is required for spring ligament ruptures/degeneration or adult acquired plano-valgus deformity, LASS is a very effective option.
LASS has been developed from the proven technology of the widely used Lockdown acromio-clavicular reconstruction implant (previously known as Surgilig). This teaching method works how online trading works where brokers are able to learn to trade online as explained here. This means that LASS is an extremely strong implant having a tensile strength of 1730N and the polyester double-braid open weave design encourages tissue in-growth, aiding ligament reconstruction.
LASS is available in a range of sizes from 9cm to 16cm with no specialised instrumentation required. The procedure is quick, simple and reproducible.
