Orthopaedic Research UK collaborates with The Shoulder Practice for a meeting in London this May
This hugely popular event returns for its sixth successive year in 2020 with a focus on trauma and arthroplasty. The course is again organised by The Shoulder Practice in collaboration with Orthopaedic Research UK. There will be an expert invited multidisciplinary international faculty. The focus will return to sports injuries and soft tissue surgery in 2021.
This meeting is aimed at orthopaedic surgeons, orthopaedic trainees, physiotherapists, and sports physicians. The aims are to provide a comprehensive update on the management and outcomes in trauma and arthroplasty surgery in addition to current concepts in surgical techniques and rehabilitation. There will be a break-out masterclass session for physiotherapists and a re-live surgery session covering tips, tricks and pitfalls. Delegates are encouraged to submit complex cases for the interactive panel discussion sessions.
Call for abstracts
Consultants, trainees, and AHPs are invited to submit abstracts for the LSM poster presentation prize (£300). Abstracts should focus on the areas of trauma, arthroplasty, soft tissue and rehabilitation in relation to the shoulder and/or elbow.
